The New Year is approaching fast and we have compiled all the latest Aerosoft and Simulation News for you to make sure you don´t miss out on any important information. We are looking forward to supply you with our info about the many upcoming products in the year 2011 and would like to thank you for your trust in us. Aerosoft Xmas Quiz |
At the end of the year (on our calendar anyway) it seems to be customary to make lists. Well, we can play that game and it seems fun. So next to the Aerosoft Xmas Quiz we will also elect the worst and best looking aircraft contest. You can add potential winners to the list now and after Xmas we’ll start the election process. And yes, the Aerosoft Quiz will start on December 24th and just like last year you can win some fine prices. We’ll have some great new questions ready for you. Some are easy, some we think will break your brains.

Improvement, happiness, solidarity - the latest images of our donation campaign in Guder are showing the success we have been achieving. We would like to say thank you to all of our customers which helped with their financial support and whilst in the pre-Christmas period we would also like to encourage you to keep supporting the orphanage in Guder. For more information about the Orphanage Center-project click here. And do keep in mind, simulation is just a game, real life and real people are far more important! Aerosoft Launcher and activation of products |
There has been a lot written in the last few days about the new activation and Launcher application we started using with Weeze X (btw do check out the screenshots for Weeze X, it really is a superb product). A lot that we read was incorrect and indicated that we did not explain it well enough. So let's try again, explain it in some more detail. If there are any questions, we'll be on standby to reply. It's unfortunately that protection measures are needed, but we all know the state of affairs.

A new tool within AESHelp will now check if there are any sceneries installed which have not yet been assingned with the AES functions. Good news for FSX-pilots: Weeze X is now available as a download from our shop. The aerodrome close to the Netherlands is used by Ryanair and several other low cost airlines. Approximately 2.4 million passengers per year use the airport to many different holiday destinations in Europe, Asia and North Africa. As a former military airport, Weeze X shows many visual highlights such as the highly detailed virtual replica of the airport‘s civilian and military part including all buildings and its institutions. Weeze X is our first add-on which needs to be registered before use.

Jet Thunder (Simulator) release notes |
We decided to change the release schedule for Jet Thunder a bit, but don't worry, it's almost all good news! The biggest change is that the initial release will now have ground attack aircraft for both sides of conflict. You will be able to fly the Harrier GR.3 and the FMA IA-58 Pucara. There is also some other news about the other Jet Thunder releases, best just read the post on the forum and see what's new. We also got some amazing images of the aircraft and objects that will appear in this brand new simulator. Check it out and discuss things with us.
