Released: Gaya Simulations Corfu Airport

Ontwikkelaar Gaya Simulations is de laatste jaren vooral druk geweest met het produceren van content voor Asobo. Nu is er weer een eigen scenery verschenen, Corfu Airport.

Corfu Airport, officieel Ioannis Kapodistrias International Airport (LGKR/CFU), ligt ongeveer 2 kilometer ten zuiden van Corfu-stad. Het is een druk vliegveld met veel chartervluchten, vooral tussen april en oktober. De luchthaven staat bekend om de spectaculaire landing langs Pontikonissi en het Vlaherna‑klooster. Het werd opgericht in 1937 en groeide uit van een korte landingsbaan tot een moderne faciliteit met een startbaan van 2.373 meter. Tegenwoordig wordt het beheerd door Fraport Greece en verwerkt het meer dan 4 miljoen passagiers per jaar.
