Gaya Simulations heeft op haar forum Florence Airport voor Microsoft Flight Simulator aangekondigd. Dit vliegveld ligt dicht bij het centrum van de stad, en is hiermee interessant voor VFR vluchten of leuk als aanvliegroute voor grotere toestellen. Vueling heeft Florence als hub in Italië.
