X-Plane versie 11.53 release notes

Laminar Research heeft X-Plane 11.53 als volledige release uitgebracht. Na een relatief korte beta test periode heeft het team de update 11.53 gepresenteerd, die een aantal problemen met AMD drivers oplost en daarnaast ook een nieuw HP Reverb G2 configuratiebestand toevoegt.

Naast de nieuwe toevoegingen en bug fixes, wijst het team ook op een aantal bugs die aanwezig zijn in deze release. Wanneer je de sim voor het eerst laadt met de optie Vulkan of Metal, ingeschakeld, zal het opstarten van de sim trager lijken dan normaal, omdat de shaders voor de eerste keer worden gecompileerd. Hierna zal de simulator veel sneller laden.

Daarnaast zijn er enkele problemen met donkere contrails, ocean tiles (scenery) die traag laden en ook melden zij  flikkerende wolkenschaduwen op de grond. Wat wel problematisch is, is dat  Laminar Research meldt dat als je in de VR-modus op de Windows Mixed Reality-knop klikt, je waarschijnlijk een crash to desktop zult ervaren. Known Bugs

  • First load time with Metal and Vulkan will be surprisingly slow. This is lots of shaders/pipelines compiling for the first time; subsequent runs will be faster.
