MSFS: Sim Update 9 Beta Preview beschikbaar

Microsoft en Asobo hebben de nieuwe Beta Preview van Sim Update 9 beschikbaar gemaakt. Alle gebruikers op PC (via Windows Store en Steam) en Xbox kunnen deelnemen aan deze beta. Heb je interesse?   • Fixed missing animations on ground vehicules, live traffic, jetways and windsocks
  • Fixed a crash at boot for uninitialized variables affecting FSUIPC, SPAD and other simconnect protocols
  • Fixed a 100% repro crash on DX12 for the Nvidia GTX1060 in the hangar with some aircraft
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent cockpit interactions in VR
  • Fixed an issue that could make runways, taxiways and aprons disappear under specific circumstances

  1. A new Spotlight Event landing challenge is available for you to fly, featuring the Cessna 172 Skyhawk landing at Kingston Airport in Nevada.
  2. CFD simulation is now available on the Cessna 172 Skyhawk G1000 and can be enabled by aircraft creators.

Stability

  1. Several crashes have been fixed across the title
  2. Ongoing performance optimization work
  3. Fixed parsing of XML gauges on Xbox that prevented the correct loading of some files

Navigation/Traffic

  2. ILS can now be received when the aircraft is slightly below the antenna
  3. Changed the way we handle several ILS on the same frequency (better handling of opposite runways having the same ILS frequency)

Weather

  1. Fixed popcorn clouds are present over a clear sky in Live Weather
  2. Reduction of clouds banding that appear at close range
  3. Properly save and load cloud density from WPR files

AUDIO

  1. Switched to Azure Neural Text-To-Speech technology

  1. It’s now possible to delete flight files from the cloud storage

    Deze Beta update geeft erg veel problemen met simconnect. Spad.next, fsuipc en andere utils die simconnect gebruiken. Dus voorlopig maar beter NIET installeren.

      Klopt, ik heb het artikel ook hierop aangepast nu… Een beta is altijd op eigen risico, vaak werken 3rd party tools niet meer en ook als Sim Update 9 live gaat zul je wat extra handelingen moeten verrichten om weer terug te gaan naar de stabiele versie.
